Station Grocer Alstonville

Ethan Hall, the Operations Manager of the Station Grocer at the Alstonville Caltex, has been a dedicated member of the establishment for nearly twenty years. He is highly impressed with the significant amount of time they have saved since integrating Ezylink into their operations in 2021.

Previously, Ethan and the managers at seven other Station Grocer stores in Northern NSW used to spend at least half of their week each on tedious invoicing and manual data entry processes. Realising the need for a more efficient approach, they introduced a dedicated System Manager role to handle these tasks across all eight sites.

After initially trying out the GaP Solutions point of sale (POS) system at the Alstonville store, Ethan heard about Ezylink’s compatibility with other fuel sites in the area. Intrigued by the potential benefits, Ethan and his team decided to reach out to Ezylink to explore how their software solutions could integrate with their existing business processes. After careful evaluation, it was determined that both our Click Invoicing and Ezylink software could seamlessly work with their current systems, enabling them to achieve greater efficiency.

The primary goal of implementing Ezylink was to free up valuable resources, allowing the Station Grocer team to focus more on serving their customers, supporting their staff, and enhancing the overall store presentation.

“The installation process was incredibly smooth, requiring minimal effort from me. Through a few email exchanges with the Ezylink team, the installation and configuration with our POS and accounting system were completed seamlessly via Splashtop.”

Once the Alstonville store became comfortable with the POS system, the management team decided to expand its integration across all eight stores, with Ezylink following suit promptly. As a result, Ethan estimates that collectively, the eight Station Grocer stores are saving at least 120 hours per week on invoicing and data entry processes.

Ethan also commends the exceptional support provided by the Ezylink team, noting their prompt response time and ability to swiftly resolve complex issues.

With assistance from our support team and by utilising Splashtop, Ethan and his team have gained proficiency in navigating the Ezylink interface and resolving minor issues on their own. He confidently claims that “…the program is so user-friendly that anyone can use it.”
